La Gard 700 Series Lock & Keypad

Operating Instructions

All combinations changes must be performed with the safe door open

To open the safe press the green enter button and then enter your user ID code followed by your unique combination.

Manager combination is set to factory default:
User ID: 01
Combination: 123456

To access the command menu:
  • Press the green Enter button to wake the keypad
  • Enter a valid ID and when prompted, the combination​
  • If time delay is programmed into your keypad, wait the allotted time, and then re-enter your user ID and combination. A countdown will begin on the screen once the first combination is entered. Once the countdown has finished you will have 10 minutes to enter your user ID and combination again.​​

​To add additional users using Manager’s combination:
  • Access the command menu using instructions above
  • Scroll through the menu until you get to the “User” menu, press green enter button
  • Screen will say “Add,” press green enter button
  • Enter the user ID to be added (02-29)
  • Enter new 6 digit combination
  • Repeat new combination to confirm
  • Screen will say “Add User,” press green enter button to confirm

Note: Combination must be tested before closing and locking safe door

To change combination:
  • Access command menu for the user ID to be changed
  • Scroll through menu to “Change Combination”
  • Enter new 6 digit combination
  • Repeat 6 digit combination to confirm

Note: Combination must be tested before closing and locking safe door
 
To reset combination with Manager’s combination:
  • Access command menu using Manager’s user ID and combination
  • Scroll through menu to Users -> Edit -> Reset Combination
  • Enter user ID to be reset
  • Enter new combination
  • Repeat new combination to confirm

​Note: Combination must be tested before closing and locking safe door
 
To change battery:
  • Push tab at bottom of keypad in and hold, use ribbed section on side of keypad to grip battery pack and slide out from keypad
  • Replace batteries with 2 Duracell or Energizer batteries
