How to replace Battery on Audit Digital Locks with Muti-user codes 

Note: Do all this with the door open and handle locked

1. Open safe door.
2. Remove battery box cover by pulling the front portion of the box away from the safe door. This cover can sometimes get stuck but it will come off with a little force.

CAUTION! Hold onto the battery connector to avoid pulling the wires out of the board.

3. Remove old battery and connect a new 9-Volt alkaline battery to the battery connector. (Must be Duracell or Energizer, off brand batteries will not be strong enough to operate your safe)
4. Push the battery and the leads completely into the battery compartment.
5. Replace the cover and test the lock several times before closing the door.

How to replace Battery on Basic Digital Keypads

Note: Do all this with the door open and handle locked

1. Cup the keypad with the palm of your hand and slide the keypad up. Carefully pull the keypad away from the mounting surface to expose battery compartment.
    CAUTION! Hold onto the battery connector to avoid pulling the wires out of the board.
2. Remove old battery and connect a new 9-Volt alkaline battery to the battery connector. (Must be Duracell or Energizer, off brand batteries will not be strong enough to operate your safe)
3. Push the battery and the leads completely into the battery compartment.
4. Repeat procedure for second battery (#3000 only).
5. Carefully position the keypad over the mounting screws and slide the keypad housing down. Ensure there are no wires or cables trapped between the keypad and the safe door.
6. Test keypad before closing the safe door.
